Emergency Response Change
Medsec are currently working with Western Australian based emergency medicine specialists on a department-wide change aimed at delivering improved triage capability and associated team-based trauma coordination and responsiveness. The project is designed to move the department to a change ready position ahead of implementation which will involve the adoption of new process including the allocation of targeted multi-disciplinary team resources, improved communication and coordination of radiology and blood services in relevant cases.
Intensive Care Training Change
Medsec are currently working on a team based, consultation driven, department-wide training change program aimed at delivering improved specialist intensive care training outcomes. The project is designed to move the department to a change ready position ahead of implementation which will involve the use of innovative training content, delivery mechanisms and evaluation techniques. The project is designed to improved trainee experience and specialist ICU skill acquisition.

Cultural Change
Medsec are currently working on a New South Wales based hospital-wide cultural change project designed to address a range of identified negative cultural issues. The project includes current state analysis, change path design, change champion identification and training, resistance management, change path implementation and ongoing monitoring and improvement. The project is designed to improve staff and trainee safety.

Governance Change
Medsec worked with a leading medical specialist college to deliver college-wide governance improvements designed to improve the quality of decision making at all levels of the organisation. The project included consensus building, policy development, resistance management, training and organisational cultural change.
Accreditation Change
Medsec worked with a leading medical specialist college to develop and implement an improved training hospital accreditation framework. The project linked accreditation to the appropriate support of trainee health and safety at the hospital level ensuring better trainee outcomes and experience.
Post-Operative Recovery Change
Medsec are currently working with a New South Wales Private Hospital on a Post-Operative Recovery Ward Change department-wide change. The project includes the development and adoption of policy and process designed to increase patient outcomes and care, rationalise use of hospital resources and enhance the Recover staff skill acquisition and training pathway.
Practice Change
Medsec are currently working with a leading practice design agency to develop a “practice essentials” solution. The solution is designed to implemented in parallel with bricks and mortar development projects permitting new practices to rapidly and cost effectively reach an organisation-wide turn-key, practice ready position.
